O Globo
The daily’s website, O Globo, is owned by the Brazilian media mastodont Grupo Globo. It is by far the most prevalent publication in the country. Despite its national reach, it still covers local news in the city where its headquarters are located, Rio de Janeiro.
Correio Braziliense
The electronic edition of the newspaper appeared in the wake of the creation of Brazil’s new capital, BrasÃlia, in 1960. Originally associated with the TV BrasÃlia channel, the two entities split up into two, but the newspaper still maintains its roots in the country’s federal capital.
Folha de Sao Paulo
The web edition of the periodical located in São Paulo, which has the largest number of readers in the country. It enjoys a reputation of independence from the government and is appreciated for its interest in the problems of the lower classes.
Jornal do Comércio
The website of the daily, which is based in Porto Alegre in the state of Rio Grande Do Sul, focuses on economics and business. He is the newspaper to read to improve his business Portuguese with Valor Econômico (access to the paid site).

The electronic edition of the sports daily. Since 1997, this newspaper has been covering the country’s intense sports news. It acted as a forerunner in the business by launching its website a week after its creation. Of course, the site deals mainly with “futebol”.
